DTU Library - Booking Walk-in Studio

The Walk-in studio at DTU Media Lab is available to DTU students and employees.

• The first time you use the booking system, you need to create a user
• Late arrival of more than 15 minutes allows other parties to use the facility for the remaining period – without making a booking
• The Walk-in studio is open for employee bookings 24/7
• The Walk-in studio is open for student bookings weekdays 09:00-18:00 and weekends/holidays/non-teaching study breaks 12:00 - 16:00. During the summer break the Walk-in studio is open for student bookings week days 10:00 - 14:00. Bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. Student access to the Walk-in studio requires a key. You can borrow and return the key at the Library Service in the staffed hours. You cannot exit the library with the key.

Panopto - DTU's official videoplatform

Record in Panopto. Connect your laptop with the Panopto USB-cable at the podium. Go to panopto.dtu.dk and download Panopto. Install on your laptop and open. Choose the camera and sound from the studio – record and remember to choose the "ultra" setting for the camera in Panopto. 

Record on external harddisk: You can also record mp4 video and slides to an SSD harddisk which you can borrow in Library Service. Please check the harddisk is empty before use – otherwise be sure to format it as ExFat. Feel free to contact us for help or a walk through of this feature.
