Welcome! There are a few things we need to be sure you are aware of before we begin your lessons, so buckle up and let’s get started!
The Driving Professors offers 1.5-hour lessons to assist anyone who needs to develop their driving skills. We instruct students of any age, provided they hold a valid DMV permit or license. Each of our instructors is hand-picked by the management team, and consistently held to our standards for instruction and compassion. However, teamwork between The Driving Professors staff, students, and their legal guardians is the most important key to the success of driving lessons. Below we have laid out our Terms & Conditions for you to review. Please know that by scheduling and paying for a lesson, you are committing to abide by these terms and conditions. Should you have any questions, please contact us. We are always happy to help in any way we can!
Lesson Services: This Student Registration Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of the purchase of instructional services from The Driving Professors. The term “Student” at any point refers to the student themselves or, if the student is under the age of eighteen and still considered a minor, their legal guardian.
Tuition Fees: Currently, tuition pricing for each 1.5-hour of instruction is as follows:
Monday - Friday: $119 per 1.5 hour
Saturday and Sunday: $149 per 1.5 hour
These fees are subject to change. All lessons are non-refundable.
Tuition fees for each lesson are due at the time of scheduling and must be paid by the student within 24 hours. Fees will be made payable through an invoice sent by The Driving Professors staff to the primary email on our student record file. If tuition is not paid within 24 hours of scheduling the lesson, the lesson time is forfeited, and the student will need to reschedule the lesson.
Attendance: The student must plan to attend all scheduled lessons prepared and on time. Every student must have their original, and valid, DMV Permit with them to attend each lesson. Be sure to look for reminder emails and texts confirming the pick-up address. Any incorrect information may result in the loss of lesson time.
Canceling and Rescheduling: To cancel or reschedule a lesson, students must provide a minimum of 24-hours prior notice by phone or email (at office@drivingprofessors.com). This 24-hour minimum notice does include notice of cancellation due to illness. With proper notice, The Driving Professors staff will help the student reschedule their lesson (subject to instructor availability) at no additional cost. However, if the student; fails to show for a lesson; does not have their original and valid DMV permit for the lesson; fails to provide correct pick-up information; if they do not provide adequate notice for a cancelation; or their behavior is rude, improper or harmful, any lesson tuition fees paid for that lesson are forfeited.
Please note, there may be circumstances which result in the need for The Driving Professors staff to change a lesson due to instructor illness, inclement weather, mechanical issues, or other emergency situations. In such an event, the lesson may be rescheduled or transferred to another instructor due to these unforeseen circumstances. If so, The Driving Professors Staff will notify the student immediately through the contact information on file.
The Driving Professors may, at their discretion, deny any future enrollment in lessons if you do not make timely payments; you fail to show up to your lesson without notice for two consecutive lessons; your conduct is rude, improper, or harmful.
Text Messaging: By providing your phone number you agree to get text messages from The Driving Professors, through the “Twilio” messaging service, relating to your lessons while you are a student. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to the texts to opt-out at any time or HELP for more information.
Policies for Minors: Communication between the Driving Professors staff and minor students should only be on site, during the driving lesson, and related to instruction. Any other communication should be between the legal guardian of any minor student and the Driving Professors staff through Driving Professors operated phones and email addresses.
By completing this student registration form, you consent to these terms and conditions.
