It's Tricky: Trick Training (Mixed Level)

Unleash your dog's potential with our fun and engaging 6-week tricks class! 

Over the course of the first five weeks, you'll learn step-by-step how to teach your dog a variety of exciting tricks — from fun basics like sit, spin, and shake, to impressive moves like roll over, crawl, and even retrieve. Each session is designed to be interactive, hands-on, and packed with positive reinforcement techniques, ensuring your dog has fun while learning.

The final and sixth class is a testing day with the possibility of receiving your dog’s AKC Trick Dog Novice Title and show off what you and your dog have learned!

  • Required prerequisite classes: Puppy Manners 2, or Teen Manners, or Dog Manners 1, or Instructor Permission

  • Proof of vaccinations will be required--see our policies or your confirmation letter for details.

  • We are unable to reserve a place in class until payment has been received.

WAITLIST: If the class is full, you have the option of adding yourself to the waitlist. You will receive an email confirming that you are on the waitlist. In the case of a cancellation, you will receive an email notifying you that you have a place in the class, with a link for you to pay the class fee (if applicable). If you do not receive an email, it means that no space is available in the class.

Dog Behavior
With the exception of Reactive Rover, our classes are designed for dogs and puppies who are friendly to other dogs and people. If your dog shows aggression toward people or other dogs, or is disruptive to the class, (s)he may be dismissed from class and no refund will be granted. If you have questions or concerns about whether your dog is suitable for class, please review our the Dog Behavior section of our policies or contact us prior to enrolling.

Refund/Cancellation
 Refunds, credits, and transfers to another class will be granted only for students who withdraw at least one week prior to the first day of class (less a $20 handling fee). No refunds/credits will be granted after that point. This applies to adopters whose class fee is included in the adoption fee—credit for a future class will only be granted if you withdraw at least one week prior to the first day of class.
