Our Teen Play Skills Sessions are 45 minutes long.
Our Teen Play Skills - Is for adolescent puppies ages 6 to 12 months. Our Teen play allows older puppies to continue to play as they mature.
During Teen Playtime, puppies engage in interactive play with their peers while learning important skills like impulse control and focus. We include on-leash breaks throughout the session, where our experienced trainers guide you through exercises to help your puppy regulate excitement and strengthen the bond with you as their handler.
This class is best suited for friendly, well-socialized puppies. It is NOT ideal for dogs that are reactive, extremely shy, or show signs of aggression.
Requirements for Teen Play Skills:
• Proof of vaccinations is required in advance. Dogs must have all rounds of DHPP/DA2PP/DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccines at least 7 days before the first session--see our policies or your confirmation letter for details.
Please send proof of vaccinations to dogtraining@seattlehumane.org in advance of your first session.
• To reduce the risk of disease transmission, dogs attending Teen Play Skills sessions should avoid 'high risk' environments such as Dog Parks and Dog Daycares while participating in these sessions.
WAITLIST: If the session is listed as full, you have the option of adding yourself to the waitlist. You will receive an email confirming that you are on the waitlist. If space becomes available, you will receive an email notifying you that you have a place in the class, with a link for you to pay the class fee. If you do not receive an email, it means that no space is available in the class.
REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be granted only for students who withdraw within at least 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the session start time.
