Important: Before you book a My Open Library induction, please go through the below checklist to ensure you meet the criteria and to avoid delays:
- You must bring Photo ID
- You must bring your library card.
- Please ensure your library account is up to date prior to the day of induction.
If you are 16 or 17 years of age:
- A Parent / Guardian must sign up for My Open Library with you
- They must follow the first 3 steps also
What to expect at the induction?
- We will do a quick Library Account Check
- You will need to fill out an Application Form
- We will do a run through of our Terms and Conditions
- We will give you a Health and Safety Tour of the Building
- We will give you a Demonstration of how My Open Library works.
The My Open Library induction will be done in groups. As such, we ask all inductees to arrive promptly at the time allocated.
