Full Foci MCGA Studio Usage Policy
Student Bench 1 Open is open Tuesday-Thursday 6-9pm.
This calendar is for currently enrolled Glassblowing students to reserve studio time. Glassblowing 1 students are elligible to create reservations starting on week 2 of class and until 1 week after their class concludes. Glassblowing 2 and Special Topics (color application, venetian techniques, etc.) are elligible to reserve the student bench during week 1 of their class beginning until 1 week after their class concludes.
Reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If it is after this time period, please call our studio at 612-759-8476 or email us at contact@mnglassart.org to request a reservation.
Renters may arrive to prep their tools before their blow slot and stay after their slot to clean. Renters arriving early to setup should respect the previous renter and not begin setup until the scheduled time. Please allow for the previous Renter to clean their space. Renters are required to have their belongings removed from the working area by the end of the scheduled time. Time will be charged in one-hour increments when going passed the schedule time.
Cancellation of Rental Time:
Blow slots must be cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled time to open up the opportunity to blow glass for another renter. To cancel, call the studio at 612-759-8476 to cancel with the staff or login in to cancel if before the 24-hour minimum. If you cannot reach staff by phone, leave a voice message and email contact@mnglassart.org.
Student rental pricing is at a discounted rate of $24/hour. Torch use is free for elligible students who have been trained on torch use.
