Create a booking button for email

Enhance the booking experience for your customers by adding a booking button or link directly to your email signature. The ability to store multiple signatures varies depending on the email program, but you can create multiple buttons to match different signatures or occasions, providing convenient access to your schedule.

Create your booking button

Be sure to log into your SuperSaaS account before using the button generator. This ensures that the generated button links directly to your schedule rather than a demo schedule.

To create and incorporate a styled booking button in your email signature, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the button creator in SuperSaaS
    Button creator Button creator
  2. Create a button for your email signature using the SuperSaaS button creator
  3. Press the clipboard icon clipboard icon in the top right corner to copy your booking button
(do not copy the text/code underneath the button creator)
  4. Open your email signature or create a new one in your email program
  5. Paste the button in the email signature and save

If you want to use multiple signatures with the same button, it is not a problem to reuse the same booking button code from step 3. To use different buttons in multiple signatures or different buttons in one signature, simply repeat the steps to create a new button above.

After saving the email signature(s), the booking button should be visible in your emails and redirecting your customers to your schedule. It is worth testing the booking button by sending an email to yourself and testing the button, to ensure that your customers receive a functioning button.

If you prefer a simple text link over a button, here’s how to add it to your email signature:

  1. Copy the URL of your schedule, which is available on the Supervise > Overviewpage
  2. Open your email account and create a new or edit an existing email signature
  3. Type the desired link text, such as ‘Schedule a meeting with me’
  4. Select the text and press Ctrl-K (Windows) or ⌘-K (Mac) to add a hyperlink
  5. Paste the URL into the dialog box and press save

Customize the link with URL parameters (Optional)

In case you want your booking button or link to redirect to a certain date, schedule view or slot, you might want to add a URL parameter to the booking link. The URL parameter can be added to the last part of the URL of your booking link. For example, the following link contains the parameter per_page which lets you set the number of items displayed per page.

https://www.supersaas.com/schedule/demo/Therapist?view=free&per_page=5

To add the appropriate URL parameter to your booking link, first insert a question mark ? at the end of the link, followed by the URL extension. A list of available URL parameters can be found on the tips & tricks page.

Once you have created the custom link for your email signature, open your signature in your email program. Place your cursor on the button or select the text to which you want to add the URL, and use the shortcut Ctrl+K (on Windows) or ⌘+K (on Mac) to bring up the pop-up screen to edit the hyperlink. Paste the URL into the pop-up window that appears, and then press save

Test the customized link by sending yourself an email to confirm that it directs customers as intended.

How to add the signature to your email

Now that you’ve designed your signature, you will probably want to use the email signature option of your email program, so you don’t have to paste it into every mail. How you add the signature depends on the email program you are using. Usually, you should be able to find the appropriate option in the preferences of your email program.
